Kaitlyn and Brayden got to experince their first SMU game (SMU vs TCU)! Too bad we left at halftime because they seemed to have a fighting chance of win. I think they were a good luck charm. Kaitlyn loved seeing Mommy and Daddy's school and didn't quite understand why our school just had buildings and trees without a playground :)

Lots of Fun Visitors!
We've had a few old friends visit in September and loved the company!!
Brad and I meet a couple, Jill and Rich, on our honeymoon (8 years ago) and have stayed friends with them ever since. Now that we are back in TX we're much closer to them (Houston) and were so excited to have Jill and her youngest son, Dax, stay with us for a night when they came to Dallas for TX/OU weekend.
A little fun in the tub... Dax is only 6 weeks older than Brayden but looks like Brayden has some eating to do to catch up :)

One of my best friends from high school, Kelly (Bratton) Guilbert, was in town with her hubby and new little guy, Mack. We loved having them over for dinner and catching up and Kaitlyn LOVED having "two babies" in the house. It's great to be back close to everyone and have lots of visitors!
Cowboys Game!
One of the perks of being a new doc in town is getting tickets to the Cowboys game 50 yard line and another perk to living near family is a Mimi and Papa to watch the kids while we go to the game :) Brad and I were able to experience the new Cowboys stadium, which I must admit is pretty impressive. Great people watching and of course complete with go-go dancers on podiums (look closely at the background of the first pic). Only in Dallas!!
Beach 2010
I realize that I am now about a month and half behind in posting pics to the blog. My biggest excuse is a certain 8 month old who doesn't like to take naps longer than 30 minutes at a time and who is also not a big fan of being anywhere other than on my hip or hanging on the back of my legs :) Another excuse is getting a new computer so had to get pics uploaded and figure out a good system to not clutter up the hard drive with a million pics (still working on that).
Needless to say, going to try to get caught up this week starting with the pics below from our trip to the beach with my parents, Aunt Lindsey and Uncle Alan. We went to Pensacola, FL over Labor Day weekend and had a great time. Lots of time on the beach (which looked great and so clean) and a little early birthday celebrate for Kaitlyn. Sorry the pics are in random order but couldn't get them to upload like I wanted. Of course there were a million pics but here are a few favorites.
