Columbus Bound!!

It’s official… as of last weekend we are now residents of Ohio for at least the next year! We were very sad to leave our house with all of the great memories, the best of course, bringing Kaitlyn home for the first time :) We are looking forward to many new memories in a new city and can only hope that we are blessed to make such good friends again. We’ll see what life has in store for us.

Bebe and Pops came up to help us with the move (again!) and we can’t thank them enough!!! I don’t know what I was thinking when I considered doing this with just Brad and I. Mom and Dad, as always, we owe you BIG!! We rented a Penske truck and Brad drove it the three hours “south.” We’re slowly getting settled and enjoying our new house and neighborhood already. We are so excited to be back in the same city as our good friends from Ann Arbor (the Olds) and can't wait for many, many good times with them still to come.

We took a little break from the packing on Tuesday for Brad’s last day of “freedom” before starting his fellowship. It was a great day filled with a trip to the zoo and topped off with an afternoon of running the sprinkler in our new backyard! Have a feeling this is going to be a common afternoon activity :)

Brad's Graduation, Birthday and Father's Day Weekend!

I had so much pics from this weekend that I had to make a separate post not to mention there was LOTS to celebrate. Two weekends ago we celebrated Brad's graduation, Brad's Birthday and Father's Day. We were so lucky to have Brad's parents and sister with part of her family (we missed Ellie and Brandon) come visit! Somehow the pics uploaded in reverse order... oh well!

I can't tell you how proud Kaitlyn and I are of Brad for making it through the past five years. It's been a challenging five years for all of us but I don't think I will ever truely understand all that he went through to get to this point. We are so proud of him as always and know that he has grown so much from this experience! Not only has he shown dedication to his residency he's found time to be a great husband and father at the same time and we are so grateful for that!!

Final Days in Ann Arbor!!

Wow.... what a crazy last few weeks and definitely behind on the blog posts so going to try to play catch up with a few new posts from all the excitement over the past month! Here are a few pics from our last few weeks in Ann Arbor and saying goodbye to all of our AA friends that we will miss SO much!

21 Month Pics!!

We were VERY sad to say goodbye to our daycare pals, Rosalyn, Mrs Moore (Rosalyn's Mom), Kenny (Rosalyn's son), Ojas, Amulya, Tommy, and Riley. Rosalyn's son, Kenny, even threw a "going away" party for Kaitlyn on her last day complete with cupcakes, balloons, and gifts. We are SO blessed to have had Rosalyn and her family in our lives the past year and half and will miss them dearly!!

Pics from our last playdate with Avery at the Domino Farm's Petting Zoo... can't even tell you how much we already miss those playdates.

Kaitlyn got a BIG kick out of feeding the goats their carrots... surprisingly she let them take it right out of her hand and was giggling like crazy :)

Farewell "Cook Out" at Betsy and Dave's house! I've been so blessed to have found a great group of girlfriends in Ann Arbor, all of whom I will miss tons!!

Our group seems to be expanding daily....

Hanging out with Sarah and Jake Williams...

Don't worry it didn't snow in June.... we just found our sled while packing so had to take a little packing break for some "indoor sledding" :)
