17 Months!!

Hope everyone is having a good week so far. Same old story around here - snow and cold!!!

We took a few pics yesterday to celebrate 17 months!! Took this one while singing one of Kaitlyn's favorites these days ...."If you're happy and you know it shout hooray - hooray!!"

Trying on the new flip-flops that Bebe sent with her new swimsuit just hoping that we can get Spring / Summer to come sooner....

I finally got a chance to download videos from our video camera this weekend so thought I would share a few from awhile back.
From our visit to NOLA back in January - Kaitlyn was showing off her soccer skills on the golf course in Bebe and Pops backyard.

Kaitlyn, Jack and Sam having a GREAT time in the basement during their visit a couple of weeks ago.

Video of Kaitlyn's latest tricks - I didn't realize it but I think I might be instilling some of my OCD / neat freak habits in this child.

Kaitlyn taking care of her baby doll and "chattering" as she does all day long. Have a feeling we're in trouble once the "chattering" turns into actual words :)

February Fun!!

Yeah for 16 months!! Peek-a-boo...

Hello! Hope everyone is doing well! Kaitlyn and I have been doing lots of playing this month.... every Thursday we get to hang out with Kaitlyn's best friend, Avery, and go to Kindermusik! They have a great time and Kaitlyn's finally starting to actually sit on the blanket with the other kids during the storytime - just took her a little while to warm up. We've had plenty of other playdates with Avery and all of our other Ann Arbor pals! We finally got a break from the below freezing temperatures so we've thankfully been able to spend some time outside (short trips, of course - it's sad that we're excited about 40 degree temps!).

We had our good friends, Matt and Molly, come visit with their two boys (Jack and Sam) and Kaitlyn had a BLAST running around after the boys and playing soccer with Jack. She was even saying "Jack" by the time to weekend was over. Brad and I had a chance to take care of Jack and Sam one night and get a brief taste of what it would be like with three - luckily they are the most well behaved little guys but I still think we'll start with two first and see how that works for us :) Here are a few picture of the Old's visit...
Jack and Kaitlyn doing the "butty" dance... if only I had this one on video!
Brad and Matt trying out our "snuggies"! Don't they look so cute. I'm sure I'll get in trouble for posting this one :)
And a few pics of Kaitlyn helping me pack and declutter over the past few weeks - a very familiar afternoon activity these days!!
