A delayed update on the past few weeks…just about two weeks after our first trip to NOLA, Kaitlyn and I turned around and went back down for a long weekend while Brad was at a work conference in San Diego. We were excited to be there for Lindsey and Alan’s couples shower. Also got a chance to relax and hang out with family and high school friends that we missed during the first trip in September.
We love being TWO!!
Pics from our trip to NOLA....
The soon to be bride and groom at the LSU / UGA game tailgate / couple shower to celebrate their upcoming big day!!
One of Kaitlyn and Bebe's Dora dance parties...
Kaitlyn's first trip on the St Charles Streetcar or "choo-choo" as she called it.
Checking out Pops' fancy car...maybe this will be K's first car to drive too (just like her Mom!).
Our playdate with my high school friends and ALL of the new babies - scarey to think that Kaitlyn's was the oldest. Don't worry you're not seeing double - there are two cutie pies in the swing (Kate and Lilly)! It was about 90 plus degrees in the middle of October - not sure we were ready for that.
More of the kiddos - Kate, Lilly, Kaitlyn, Reed and aunt "KB" in the background who has a baby in her belly too :)
Back in Columbus at the Upper Arlington Fall Fest and Chili Cookoff. Brad tried to show these Midwesterns a good chili but unforunately I don't think they could take the heat. He'll have to try a true Texas Cookoff next time :)
Hanging out with Jack and Sam at the Fall Fest!

Ready for Fall!
Random pic but this is what our bathroom looks like these days for Kaitlyn's entertainment while I shower in the mornings - quite high maintenance!

And last but not least - our latest dance moves!
When I bought the refrigerator animal magnet / music box about 1.5 year ago I certained didn't think it would still provide endless entertainment. Surprisingly Kaitlyn still loves it and has created her own moves to go along with the music not to mention can pretty much sing along!
