California, Disneyland, and Zoo!!!

What a week we've had!! Last Friday we headed out to California to see our niece, Samantha, make her first communion, visit family, and meet Mickey Mouse and all of his pals!! It was quite a trip!! Here are LOTS of pics from our trip...

The five hour flight and three hour time change made for quite a moody Kaitlyn - we were having the time of our life one minute and were melting the next... I'll let you guess what mood we were in for this pic :)

Kaitlyn had a GREAT time with her cousin Samantha and pal Ethan... they sure were fun to chase and dance with!!

Kaitlyn and Samantha had their own "table for two."

We even got to try out cousin Samantha's guitar hero!!

Samantha beat us all ... even Brad!!

Kaitlyn with Aunt Jen....

Mother's Day with the best gift of all - my Kaitlyn!!!

We stayed entertained at dinner with the Butterfly ballooon animal...

Disneyland here we come....

Before the carousel started moving...

After the carousel started moving....

It took a few characters, but after one or two with Mom and Dad, Kaitlyn had it down and would walk right up to them with her autograph book like a pro. Susie, thanks for the great pointer on the autograph book... it was a hit!!

Giving Tigger hugs....

Sad to leave Disneyland .... but Pooh got to come home with us :)

Kaitlyn telling Pooh all about the airplanes and how we have to be good little boys and girls on the plane. Notice the "honey" teddy grahams especially for Pooh :)

As if a trip to Disneyland wasn't excitement enough for one week, Kaitlyn and I took a trip to the Toledo zoo on Friday with our pals, Betsy & Avery, Susie, Grant and Hunter, and Cecilia and Nadia. Here are Kaitlyn and Avery on the way there...

Waiting for the Zoo Train...

I think the Hippos were our favorite...

Or maybe the penguins...

With all of the excitement Kaitlyn didn't quite hang on long enough to see the Polar Bears...

It was a great week and a good weekend of beautiful weather, couple of house showings, and an open house. Hope everyone else had a great weekend as well!
